About SnapReelz
SnapReelz is an independent site with practical guides to making Instagram Reels: what size to export, how to open a video, how to read your numbers, and what to fix when views stall.
Why this site exists
Most advice about Reels is either a vague list of tips or a promise of overnight growth. We wanted the opposite: short, specific guides you can act on the same day, written for people who film on a phone and edit between other jobs.
What we cover
- Specs: sizes, safe zones, covers and export settings.
- Creating: ideas, hooks, filming and audio.
- Editing: cuts, captions and choosing the right length.
- Growth: hashtags, posting times, Insights and common mistakes.
How we write our guides
- We explain what to do and why, in plain language, without hype.
- We don't invent statistics or quote studies we can't point to.
- Instagram changes its limits and features often. When a number may have changed, we say so and tell you where to check it in the app.
- We update guides when something we wrote stops being true.
Independence
SnapReelz is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. The site is free to read and is supported by advertising. Ads never decide what we write about or recommend.
